The glasses I ordered were £100 cheaper than my local high street opticians; they arrived sooner than expected and the chap I spoke to on the phone to discuss my prescription could not have been more helpful. I recently puchased some glasses from Metsuki primarily to save money. Normally I need to budget around £300 for frames and lenses (I need thin ones). I did some research on online sites and whilst Metsuki weren’t the cheapest they had good reviews and are UK based, I’d stay clear of anything based in China when it comes to buying specs.

The process was very straightforward with the only tricky bit being doing your own PD, I got a freebie ruler from Metsuki but it didn’t seem that accurate so just did it with a ruler and got a friend to read me the measurements.

Correspondence was good and my specs arrived in about 5 days. All in I reckon I saved about £140 on a pair of Ray Ban frames and 1.67 lenses with scotch guard which I’m pretty chuffed about. I’d recommend them to anyone else who needs new specs, just remember to triple check the prescription you enter as if you make a mistake you’ll still need to pay for the lenses (fair enough really).

My husband recommended Metsuki to me, and I was very impressed with the friendly and efficient service. The staff answered all my queries on the phone and email in a knowledgeable and polite manner, and gave me confidence in purchasing glasses online.

Prices were very competitive against high street retailers, lenses were significantly more cost effective as were the frames, and the try before you buy service was worthwhile.

Quick delivery, am overall very pleased and would definitely use Metsuki again.

I am really impressed by the service Metsuki offer. I ordered a pair of Ray Ban aviators for my dad as a father’s day present and at the time I placed my order they were out of stock.

Despite having to be ordered in by Metsuki and then forwarded on to myself it only took 10 days for the sunglasses to arrive.

Metsuki kept me informed every step of the way and I felt my custom was truly valued - and I saved around £40 compared to the high street price. Brilliant stuff!

It was my first time buying glasses over the internet and I was very pleased I did.  I picked a pair of Prada frames and selected the reactive lenses which are great and work very fast.

I went along to Boots for the eye test and prescription.

It only took a few days for the lenses to be made and I was informed of progress by email. The saving was huge over over High Street prices and I would not think twice about using metsuki again.
